HHR translates complex study findings into actionable insights, communicate findings with families, facilitates health linkages for high-risk expectant mothers to specialists for regular antenatal care (ANC), organize dialogues through Social Support Groups, and promote nutritious diets through nutrition-sensitive agriculture by providing training, improved vegetable seeds, and poultry to families to encourage healthier behaviour changes.

HHR organizes awareness raising programs that involve community dialogues and health education sessions on maternal and child health. Facilitates support group sessions for grieving mothers to emotional recovery and improve awareness for better maternal and child health practices. Conducts community health education and health outreach campaigns to influence healthy life styles in the community.

HHR focuses on sharing study findings with health facilities to guide evidence-based decision-making. Supports local health facilities with essential medical equipment promoting safe maternal and child care services.  Provides Capacity building training for health professionals at catchment health facilities focusing on Infection Prevention Control (IPC) protocols, and high-traffic health facilities waste management to minimize infection risks.

Data sharing, HHR provides raw and aggregated data to the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI) to inform policies and strategies. This data empowers stakeholders by providing them with the information needed to make informed decisions, develop effective interventions, and create policies that improve health outcomes for communities.
